Morey Middle School

Morey Middle School is situated in the Capitol Hill Neighborhood of Denver. We're part of the Denver Public Schools System and host grades sixth, seventh, and eighth. We have 815 students. Our student population is made up of 38. 2% White, 31. 2% African-American, 27. 1% Hispanic, 3. 1% Asian and 0. 5% American Indian. Approximately 50% of our students are on the free/reduced lunch rate. Morey Middle School was set up in 1921 after Chester S. Morey, a School Board member from 1892 to 1895.
