The Test of Variables of Attention is an objective, computerized test of attention that helps in the screening, diagnosis, and treatment monitoring of attention disorders such as ADD and ADHD. By precisely measuring reaction times while playing a very simple computer game, and then comparing the results to a similar group of people without attention disorders, the T. O. V. A. Provides additional objective data to aid clinicians accurately diagnose whether or not someone has ADD/ADHD. It can aid determine the effectiveness and optimum dosage of ADD/ADHD medications.
