While with Blue Cross, Cary trained in Claims, Customer Services, and Enrollment/Billing, before being promoted to District Sales Manager, where he worked with the local broker community to promote and sell Blue Cross plans to employers. While with Blue Cross he earned the designation of Certified Health Consultant (CHC). In 1996, Cary joined Myriad Benefits as an Associate Producer and brought with him extensive knowledge of insurance operations and a foundation of employee benefits.
