That tradition continued this year as Ms. Kohli welcomed her daughter, Ashlynd, as co director of the Iowa City/Coralville location. The Kohli's feel their most important responsibility is to provide all students with a role model that will help them to dream big dreams and never be afraid to take a risk. Private Training
read moreIf you prefer contactless one on one lessons with a teacher we welcome you to take private lessons. We have many spots available for 30 minutes, 45 minutes or 60 minutes. With private training you are able to customize the techniques and styles you work on.
Competition
read moreNational Dance Academy has been a leader in Iowa's competition dance circuit for 40 years. With teams ranging from average ages of 5-6 to 17-18 NDA is consistantly winning overall awards, high points and best choreography. Virtual_Classes
read moreNDA is committed to bringing dance to each and every dancer in a safe and comfortable environment. If you're not ready for your dancer to enter our building we welcome you to dance from the comfort of your home. The below classes will be held virtually and at a discounted rate. There is no recital or costume fee for zoom classes. Zoom classes will run September-December (12 week session) and are $25 per month. At that time we will evaluate the situation and either continue virtual learning or welcome you to the in studio class.

The Governor has given Iowa dance studios the ok to open after reviewing all of the hard work and mitigation efforts us dance studios have been doing to keep our studio families safe! I could not be more thankful to the 100+ studio owners who banded together to share the information with the Governor's office and make it possible for our dancers to still grace us with their presence in the studio. We will have to adhere to the conditions laid out for business, of which we already have been(and more), to ensure we are able to stay in the studio space in the future.
