This is a great opportunity to learn more about what is happening throughout the communities of Nebraska and resources that may be helpful to you and your community. The 17th annual Housing Innovation Marketplace was held on March 19 & 20, 2019 at the La Vista Conference Center. We had record attendance this year with the addition of the Annual LIHTC Compliance Training with more than 646 participants from 37 Nebraska counties and 49 communities and 23 states.

read moreNIFA provides community outreach and technical assistance to housing providers, community organizations, community officials, housing advocates, developers, builders and lenders to initiate, facilitate and expedite the development of affordable housing in the state of Nebraska. NIFA's technical assistance and outreach provide information of the financial resources available in the State; various programs NIFA has to offer; and the process by which housing development occurs. NIFA partners with community-based organizations such as non-profits, local government, housing authorities and community development groups to bring NIFA programs to communities throughout the state in an effort to empower local citizens to design, develop and implement plans for addressing the communities' housing and economic development needs in order to improve the quality of life for all.
