read moreA defining characteristic of CC New Horizon is a strong support for missions, both domestic and international. As you might expect, there are literally hundreds upon hundreds of mission works going on throughout the world through hundreds of Calvary Chapel churches. We are currently performing mission work in the Philippines where we would like to increase the awareness of the mission there and let people know how they might come along side to partner with them as they build. In serving in the mission field there is always a wide variety of opportunities to get involved for outreach teams, medical and dental mission trips, construction teams, and such.

read moreWomen's Ministry - Beginning at 9:00 AM on Saturday mornings the women meet in discussion groups to explore the passage of scripture studied that week. After the group discussion the women gather in the Main Sanctuary at 10:15 AM for worship and a Biblical lecture taught by Special Guest Speaker. Childcare is provided. The women's evening study is on Wednesday at 7:00pm in the Fellowship Hall. The study begins with worship and is followed different gifted teachers. The evening ends with discussion groups that minister to each other about the portion of scripture studied that week.

read moreWe know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at Calvary Chapel a great one! In total, a Calvary Chapel service is about 75 minutes in length. Services begin with the Calvary Chapel worship team leading the church in music - song lyrics are projected onto the screen so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. After the music portion of service is complete, our pastor will come out to share an encouraging and hope-filled message about Jesus.

Through this relationship, we are compelled, by the Holy Scriptures and the Holy Spirit, to pray for the needs of our church, our neighbors and our world community. We believe that by abiding in Christ (John 15:7-8), we are empowered through prayer to war against principalities of darkness in high places (Ephesians 6:12). We believe that, our weapons of warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:4-5).

Our worship tends to be contemporary-praise and worship songs as well as hymns with modern musical arrangements.
