Nice Friday Service, April 2: An interactive worship experience for reflection and remembrance. Come any time between 7 and 9 PM. Beginning on March 1, 2009, we'll be having Sunday services in our own church building at 1020 W. Kenneth Road in Glendale. After renting another site for 12 years, we're excited to finally put our roots in this neighborhood and bring the transforming love of Christ to the families and the community. How will we transform ourselves? Through encountering God's love, building healthy relationships, and serving within and beyond.

read moreOur roots go back to 1921, when a Sunday school class was established in Glendale, California for children of Japanese immigrants. We were dedicated as Glendale Mikuni ("Kingdom of God") Christian Church in our first building in 1938. After World War II the Church officially joined the Pacific Coast Japanese Free Methodist Conference. The name of our church was later changed to New Life Christian Church to better reflect who we are and who we want to be as a congregation. Selling our former property which was too small for our needs, we purchased and moved into a facility on beautiful Kenneth Road in Glendale in 2009.
