The roots of New Lifestyle Diet began with its founder, Hamilton Erridge, who lost over one hundred pounds in 2002. While losing the weight was certainly not easy, after reaching his goal weight, he found himself struggling to find a source for understanding the challenges he was trying to overcome. Feeling alone and hoping to find others that felt the same, he began a free discussion forum and began the process of focusing on his own issues.
