Pastor David is a graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, Florida, gaining his Master of Divinity degree in 1986 from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. He completed a two-year residency in Clinical Pastoral Education in 1989 at the University of Virginia Health Sciences Center, Charlottesville, Virginia and is an ordained elder in full-connection in the Virginia Conference of the United Methodist Church.

read moreThe Leadership Board of New Town United Methodist Church serves the church as guardian and champion of the purpose, core values, and long range vision of the church and provides for its administration. The Leadership Board has general oversight of the life of the church and represents the congregation in matters affecting the life of the church. The board is comprised of nine lay members of the congregation, and members are elected to three-year terms. The Leadership Board meets on the third Thursday of each month at 6:30pm.
