Nmc

NMC was established in 1938 by J. J. Joe) Swanson, a highway engineer for the Wyoming Department of Transportation and W. A. Norris, a Wyoming contractor. The firm's 1st facility was situated on West Front Street in North Platte, Nebraska. A 2nd facility was opened in Scottsbluff in 1941. In 1948 following a highly successful partnership, Joe Swanson bought the firm from Norris. In 1953 Joe's son, Jerry Swanson, joined the firm and served in a number of positions before becoming president in 1984.
