Norcal Waste Systems

A 26-year member of the Recology management staff, Mike was recruited to be the Chief Financial Officer of Sunset Scavenger's parent firm in 1983. Following a 1987 merger with Norcal Waste Systems. He assumed the same role for the combined organizations until his election as President & Chief Executive Officer in 1991. Recology is the biggest employee-owned firm in the solid waste industry, delivering waste management solutions to more than 570, 000 domestic and 55, 000 commercial clients.
