Community Center in Austin, TX The 2010 Executive Committee would like invite the members of NAMCC for the GA meeting on March 27 between Maghrib and Isha. There will be presentation on the state of NAMCC, construction update, Q&A and dinner for the participants. This is a members only event, so we encourage families to join NAMCC by paying $100 per family.

read moreThe Da'wah Committee has made great strides educating the public about Islam. With Islam 101 classes and Open House events, the Da'wah Committee has been able to clear the misconception of Islam in the minds of several people and have educated long time Muslims about the fundamentals of Islam. Friday Halaqah are held at the Masjid with a series of Islamic lectures teaching the community Tafseer, Ahadith and advice on how to raise children according to Islam in our society. Additional Halaqah are held for the sisters and for the youth.
Robotics
read moreIn Jan 2018, NAMCC partnered with IbnSina Mindcrafters, a robotics training company, to train instructors for the NAMCC Robotics program. Instructors with software and hardware engineering background were groomed to provide training for the first batch of kids. Classes were held at NAMCC on Saturdays for 2 hours with an active enrollment from 21 kids. In May 2018, after fourteen weeks of training, 16 kids graduated from the program and participated in the Robolympics competition. The competition was held between 4 teams where each group had to demonstrate time management and teamwork to complete 3 tasks in 4 hours.
