N County Cat Hospital is a complete service animal hospital designed, built and equipped to supply veterinary care exclusively to cats. The hospital is situated on the corner of College and Oceanside Blvd.in the Ralphs shopping center) in Oceanside, California. It is convenient to most of northern San Diego County including Oceanside, Vista, Carlsbad, San Marcos, Bonsall and Camp Pendleton. I graduated from Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1987 and went to work at a mixed animal hospital.

Our Secret Diseases video describes some of the medical conditions that we find in cats who appear healthy to their people. To allow full examinations for all shelter cats, we partake in the "Shelter Examination" program. As a service to the shelter, we provide, at no charge to the adopter, full examinations of recently adopted cats. We don't want to vaccinate unhealthy cats, so we don't vaccinate any cats whom we have not examined recently.

There are a lot of times when we are unable to see emergency patients (for example, when we are in surgery) so it is always important to call ahead. When we are not available, we recommend that patients be seen at an emergency animal hospital. There are three specialty emergency animal hospitals near North County Cat Hospital. All of these will ask you who your primary veterinarian is and then share all the medical information with that primary care provider.
