As a resident and tiny business owner living in Northeast Minneapolis, i am in the unique position of being both a consumer looking to shop locally, as well as a product and service supplier looking to connect with neighborhood residents. Having lived in this area for few years, I've often been frustrated by the lack of resources available for connecting neighborhood residents and local businesses. As a consumer, I don't want to just pick someone out of the phone book or newspaper located on the mere fact that they are the ones who can afford to spend that type of money on advertising.
