Nose For News

The Nose for News curriculum was developed by Leah Kohlenberg, who worked as a reporter for fifteen years, including stints at Time Magazine in Hong Kong, ABCNEWS.com and at daily newspapers throughout the country. She's written for the Asian Wall Street Journal, Salon.com, MSNBC.com and the Seattle Weekly, among other publications, and one of her essays is included in the book, Best Women's Travel Writing 2005. She was awarded the Knight Fellowship to teach journalism in Mongolia. In the past five years, she's trained and coached journalists in Mongolia, Slovakia, Armenia and the Republic of Georgia.
