Established in 2003, Optic Nerve Arts is a tattoo, piercing and art gallery situated in the centre of the Alberta Arts District in Portland, Oregon. And we are excited to announce that we recently moved to a storefront location right on Alberta Street between twelfth and 13th. Walk-ins are welcome for both tattoos and piercings. We're a complete-service piercing shop and carry a huge range of jewelry, specializing in tribal and ethnic jewelry for stretched earlobes. As a gallery, Optic Nerve Arts specializes in darker themed and avant-garde work by both international and national artists.

I pride myself in my ability to work in varied styles, preventing myself from stagnating artistically in a single type of tattoo. If I'm asked to point out areas I tend to be asked to do more often, they would be in the realistic and comic book areas. One of my strengths, though, is in my ability to do tattoos while recreating a client's favorite artists' painting or image, on occasion even creating a new image, done in that style.
