Optima Dental Surgery is best in class when it comes to dental work be especially implants. I knew I needed and extraction and implant for years but I dragged it out because I never found a place I felt comfortable. After a consultation with Optima Dental and an appointment with Dr. Owen's, I proceeded with my implant process right away. The front staff is responsive and friendly and Claudia, Office Manager, is detailed, professional yet personal, and helped me understand the process from beginning to end.

They helped manage my expectations and eased all of my anxieties. I wholeheartedly recommend Optima Dental for any dental work and will go back in a heartbeat in the future if I need more work done.

Optima Dental made the implant procedure very easy and reasonably priced. Super kind and supportive staff.

I went in to get my wisdom tooth removed. It was such a fast and easy process. They went over what to expect after the removal. Dr. Triconis and his staff were all very friendly.

The staff and doctors here are amazing! From the moment you are greeted at the front door until you leave you feel like you and your dental needs are first priority.

Everyone was so kind from check in, to x-rays, to the procedure! The lady that assisted the doctor was so kind and sweet! She def helped calm my nerves, held my hand for the removal of all 4 teeth and the doctor was very kind as well.

Awesome staffs & Dr. Marx." WOW!" Not only he is experienced, but also knowable to answer all my questions. I came in to get the 2nd opinion on my periodontal gum disease which requires surgery. Dr. Marx came up a better treatment plan with a much affordable payment compares to another periodontist I visited a week earlier. Instead of traditional invasive Osseous surgery, Dr. Marx will perform the LANAP treatment on me with less invasive, faster healing process & more effective way. I had a really great overall experience at Optima. I had a really bad experience at a previous dental facility I went to because they were frustrated how nervous I was when I was getting my 2 extractions. I have really bad anxiety and was not comfortable at all at the other facility because of how they were treating me. I got my other 2 extractions at Optima and it was wonderful.

The dentist was kind, the assistant gave me a blanket and was constantly reassuring me and telling me I was doing great and always asking if I needed anything. The receptionist was friendly, definitely recommend this facility to anyone.

Dr. Emil Marx DDS, MS was very professional, answered all my questions, showed excellent patient care and was available to call/text me back when I needed after the surgical procedure. My expectations are that in the 3 months of waiting period I would enjoy food again to the fullest, with the new implants. I say this, be on guard for implants in Mexico City. I thought I had done research and now after 7 years they were finally removed by Dr. Marx through surgery. Thank you very much Dr. Marx.

I went in for a consultation and had a very nice experience, considering it's an oral surgery office. It was refreshing to be greeted w/ warmth & a smile the moment I walked through the door. Wow! Friendly staff who seem happy to be there and happy to have you. Dr Marx is the oral surgeon I met with. He put me at ease right away. He was professional and took the time to answer my questions and gave thorough explanations that I could understand.

His bedside manner was authentic; compassionate, calm, informative throughout and not once did it feel rushed. As a patient, I felt listened to, informed thoroughly and cared for. And isn't that how a patient should always feel? Ashley is wonderful and is just as mindful, thorough and warm when going over the cadence and cost of the plan Dr Marx is suggesting and prescribing so-to-speak. I'm pretty sure Ashley oversees admin/operations at the surgery centers and wears many hats. Nothing but good things to say about my experience here.

The people in the reception were real nice and i did not have to wait to be seen. Dr. Juan Troconis, the Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon explained everything and found two fractures after me going to Ascension Seton emergency twice complaining about the pain and both times they said nothing was wrong i just had a bruise. I felt comfortable, welcomed and like they actually cared.

The treatment coordinator was real thorough explaining my options she was nice and understood my situation i look forward to having my treatment done here and would give them 5 stars for sure. Did i mention even the oral surgeon knows spanish and doesnt treat you like he is to good to even look you in the eye like most other doctors. Didnt make me feel uncomfortable or regret going there like i have at other dentist offices. I came from William Cannon and it was worth the drive to Round Rock.

I was so happy that they worked with my special needs throughout the process, from providing a front tooth "flipper" to wear while waiting for my implant, to working with my crazy travel schedule, to rescheduling for COVID and getting a custom color. It was a pleasure to work with them all! Thank you all so much!

I would like to thank the doctors and staff at Optima for their patience, attentiveness, and service during my visits. I received a dental implant and the result was aesthetically amazing. More importantly, they were patient and informative minimizing my anticipation anxiety regarding the process. There was no pain whatsoever incurred as a result of the procedure. Everyone in the office is so professional and friendly. Dr. Owens went above and beyond to remove my tooth, fix a difficult implant and crown for me. I never experienced pain or discomfort during the procedures, and he always checked to make sure I was comfortable. Dr. Owens provided his professional expertise and showed integrity, compassion, tenacity and now I have my smile back.

In addition, Dr. Owens is a very generous and kind man. It's so nice to have a dental surgeon like Dr. Owens that cares about his patients; it makes it easy to return. I was fortunate enough to visit Optima Dental Surgery Center this last week. Dr. Mark was so knowledgeable, professional, and yet, very personable. We feel very confident going ahead with Optima Dental Surgery for my needs. One would have thought we were the only ones there as he was so patient and open to any and all questions. If that was not enough, he has a great sense of humor about life. Thank you, Dr. Mark!

What an amazing group of people they have. I had full teeth removal and all on 4 done in 1 day. They were extremely comforting, very precise, took great care of me before during and after my surgery. They called and text to check on me once I was home for the next several days. Always answered any questions or concerns I had. I would recommend anyone needing any dental surgical work done to go see them.

They are excellent and make you feel like family. I feel like a brand new person with my new smile. I have had tons of compliments on how amazing my new teeth look and I couldn't be happier.

Where do I begin? Dr. Owens is as caring and compassionate as he is a great doctor. He always made me feel like I was his most important patient and was always clear and transparent in all his consultations with me. I received full mouth implants and to say that I'm extremely happy with the results is an understatement! The day of the procedure he removed all of my remaining teeth (19), inserted the implants, then put in my temporary teeth.

I did not experience any discomfort. The temporary teeth were great! You just follow their instructions (which are very easy to follow) and you have a great smile while being able to eat mostly softer foods for just a few weeks until the implants fuse with your bones. I've got my permanent teeth now and they look great too! Eating is totally back to normal and I've eliminated all the trouble I was having with my natural teeth.

The office personnel are all extremely friendly and helpful. As a side note, when I was shopping for a place to get this procedure, i was asked by a doctor at one of the large, nationwide dental implant centers who else I had talked to. When I told him Dr. Owens he simply said, "I've heard he's very good". Well, that doctor was right, HE IS!

Excellent service and care coming from this group -- all the folks at Optima in RR are easy to talk to and they make sure you're properly cared for. Dr T. was swift and precise with his surgery and explanations; and big shout-outs to Brandon & Delaney! These two go above and beyond for their patients. Please reward them because it's well-deserved! Thanks for the positive experience.

Everyone in the office was so welcoming and friendly. Dr. Owens was very patient with my daughter, and made sure she was comfortable during her procedure. I really appreciated the follow up message directly from him the next day. It really does mean a lot as a mom when the doctor makes direct contact with you to make sure everything is okay afterwards. I'd recommend this office to anyone!

Dr. Owens, is a highly skilled professional. My husband had many issues that required addressing. Dr. Owens prioritized what was needed urgently, then quickly handled them. The staff are the best. You are welcomed into a clean, open space with state of the art equipment. My husband left with a continuation of care plan, and very little pain. Dr. Owens also called to check on him and level of discomfort. This was very comforting for both of us. Don't waste your time shopping around. Dr. Owens is the office to go to. You won't be disappointed by the care and results

Today I had an implant done by Dr. Owens. This is the second implant I have had to have done, the first about 20 years ago. The procedure went so quickly and almost completely without pain. The only pain I had was from the novocaine shots. All the excellent reviews for Dr. Owens and his staff are well deserved and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

Dr. Owens and his team are professional, friendly and compassionate. Dr. Owens is easy to speak with he takes his time going over your options and concerns. The receptionist at the front desk is knowledgeable, friendly and always makes me feel welcomed. His nurses are just as considerate and warming. You or your family member will be in good hands with Dr. Owens and his team!

On 8/8/16 I had the honor to meet Dr. Owens & staff. Exceptional & outstanding! I deal with a lot of business firms daily. Nowadays, it is rare to find this kind of excellence. The staff is extremely professional, thorough, friendly & caring, I could list every detail that I am impressed with, but I will keep it brief as to ensure my message is heard.

I was very nervous about the oral surgery & after effects. I had to trust the staff to prepare me, before, during & after. To my relief, I was never let down or abandoned. Every phone call was answered, every question was answered & they made sure I was informed in all areas. They even called to check on me the next day. Dr Owens, Cathy, Claudia & Darla cared for me like family! I can never say enough. Thank you All!

Professional, efficient, and caring. The staff was absolutely fantastic and I really can't imagine going anywhere else for my periodontal needs. If you are apprehensive about the dentist in anyway, Dr. Owens is the person for you to check out.

Dr. Owens is awesome. Knowing I was a bit nervous about getting some work done, he explained it all very carefully and Claudia explained all the paper work and costs up front. They took their time and encouraged questions. I quickly calmed down and got through it all. I'm happy to have a place I can call with questions and they will always help. Vicky is a great tech and she will do anything to help you get comfortable. She's also a riot sometimes.

I love just chatting with her. I highly recommend Dr. Owens, especially if like me you haven't been so diligent in the past. The office is very nice and they do have free WiFi as well.

That feeling you get when you read someone's 1-star review and realize the fault was theirs. Then you check and see that they gave a 2-star rating to a pizza place because their pizza (that they even said tasted good) didn't taste quite as good the next day as leftovers after sitting in their refrigerator all night. Sheesh. Folks, I've been going to Owens Periodontics twice a year for eight years or so and have found them to be nothing short of professional, friendly and downright fantastic. Dr. Owens is one of the nicest individuals you will ever meet on the planet. All the other staff are equally a pleasure to be around. Don't hesitate to go here for any of your periodontal needs. I promise you'll be very pleased.

1) My crown lengthening was over quickly and painlessly, I actually thought they were still prepping me and then they were done. 2) The whole staff are SO NICE that I kept expecting them to pull out a timeshare contract, just sayin'. 06/17 I want to add that I am experiencing a "bait and switch" between dentists and Delta Dental. Dentist calls and confirms amount I will pay with insurance, I pay my part, then later I get a bill for more.

This has happened to me multiple times at my regular dentist (Dr. Dyer, in Georgetown, at this specialist and at Dr. Torres (another specialist in Georgetown. This dentist warned me, Torres didn't make me pay the extra, but he got hit with it. I think Delta Dental is the real culprit.

This was the best dental experience I have ever had. From the initial phone call to set an appointment until I left the office, everyone was friendly and efficient. I loved being able to fill out new patient forms online so I had time to consider the information carefully. After a minor procedure, Dr. Owens personally called me the next day to check on me. I highly recommend Dr Owens and his staff.

I really hope people read this review! I was referred to Dr. Owens by my Ortho, Dr. Singh (look her up, she is also amazing!), to get a receding gum line checked out. but I hadn't taken up the opportunity and scheduled an appointment yet. Well yesterday morning I woke up with this insane inflammation and pain in my back right side of my mouth, and knew immediately I had to see a periodontist as it was in my gums above one of my molars.

Not even scheduling an appointment, I rushed over to Dr. Owen's office and not only did they fit me into the schedule, I had a nurse asking me questions almost as soon as I walked in. I immediately felt comfortable and taken care of. After visiting with Dr. Owens and doing my X Rays, he quickly was able to determine the infection and administer the right medicine to resolve. Well, I went to work and the pain was progressing worse and worse.

I was almost in tears with a headache and jaw pain from the hurting so I nervously called back to see if they could do anything. Darla, the office manager, was so helpful and talked to Dr. Owens for me and quickly returned my call with remedies to ease the pain. I am very grateful that I went to this office for help. I am feeling so much better today, and plan to go back in 10 days to do a check up.

I highly recommend this practice as they really do take care of their clients, even new patients with emergencies. They will accomodate your schedule and give you the best experience (that you can have at a periodontist :-P ) Thanks for the great care.
