read moreThere are four summer programs to choose from: Summer Schedule I that runs Monday-Thursday from 9:00am to 3:00pm, Summer Schedule II that runs Monday-Thursday from 9:00am-6:00pm, Summer Schedule III that runs Monday- Thursday from 9:00am-3:00pm, and Summer Schedule IV from Monday-Friday 9:00am to 6:00pm. All programs include instruction in reading, writing, math, science, presentation, and cooking. We also offer an early drop off at 8:00am during the Summer without an additional charge. Summer Schedule II and IV also adds homework help Monday-Thursday to make sure students get all the time and assistance needed to complete their summer OLS homework, as well as an art class that will take place on Fridays. The OLS Summer Program is a great way to keep students learning all through summer and prevent them from forgetting what they learned at school.

read moreThis place is so great! My cousin has been coming here for their summer camp and it is such a great program. She has daily lessons in math, reading, vocabulary, and writing, and there are other fun classes like presentation class, science experiments, piano, and even cooking! I love seeing what kinds of projects she will come home with every week!
The staff is all very friendly and professional. They really care about their students. And I love the OLS app, which lets parents track their child's academic and behavior scores every day and see comments from teachers.
I would definitely recommend Optimus to anyone in Orange County looking for a fun and awesome summer camp or afterschool program.

read moreWe had been struggling with homework for awhile and was looking for an afterschool program where our son could get some dedicated help and develop a basis for good study habits. We had looked into Optimus after seeing their van do pick ups at the school and after meeting with the Optimus director, we felt this was one of the best options for our family.

Their after school program is geared toward academics and that is what we were looking for. Our goal was not to get him help with completing homework, (without spending hours and hours in the evening at home, battling back and forth). We were also searching for help in developing a responsible and positive attitude toward studying. We felt that with those two goals accomplished, better grades would soon follow.

The effects of the school were almost immediate. Within a very short time, (a week or so) our son was completing his homework while at optimus and after picking him up and coming home, we were able to enjoy time as a family eating dinner and doing fun things in the evening instead of fighting and late nights doing homework.

We've been happy clients going into our third year now with Optimus. Our sons grades have gotten better and better and this past semester, he got his best report card yet! He has good study habits now and understands how important good grades are. There have been a few times where we went to pick him up but he asked that we instead come back later so he could finish his homework.

Optimus has been great and has exceeded our expectations. They have additional academic programs for young kids to do once their home work has been completed, such as a reading club. They also have a computer coding class that our son LOVES!

read moreI was little worried my 5 year daughter has been shy and reserved in her kindergarten class because her first language was not English. Director Mr Hwang assured me she would catch up real fast and now I see her progress only in a week since she joined Optimus. She loves to go to Optimus and chat about her classes and teachers there. Now I begin to worry what if her vacation is over and go back to her school.
