Walter Visokay was born into the family business. His father was a self-employed business owner involved in all kinds of home remodeling for 51 years before his retirement. Walter's father/mentor taught him well, from carpentry skills to opening a successful tiny business, Visions Home Improvements in Connecticut. It was a difficult decision to close the business and move to South Carolina in 2004, but it was a dream Walter and his wife, Pam, had had for few years. After most of Walter's family moved to South Carolina, it seemed only natural for them to follow.
