Pat Catan's Craft Center

Pat Catan, an entrepreneur in the craft industry, began his 1st Cleveland art provide store in 1954. The modest 600-square-foot location was on East 131 Street and Miles Avenue in Cleveland, Ohio. Before that, Pat had mainly been an Ohio floral provides distributor, but he had more creative ideas than simply plastic flower arrangements. These ideas led him to combine his floral provides store with provides found in a scrapbook store, sewing store, art provides store, and more.
