Patricia Heard

The Phoenix Family Institute was set up in 1999 as a place to practice cognitive and behavioral therapy for individuals, couples and families. It was founded to supply a vehicle to train clinicians in the Charlotte area. Professionals from various fields come together to teach theory from their respective schools of thought. These newly-trained clinicians can then go out into the community to work with families to assist them better work with one another.
