Our daughter started Phyl's Academy at the age of 2, her vocabulary has increased dramatically. Her ability to do the lessons in class and complete her "work" in its entirety has amazed us. We could not imagine how our daughter would have progressed this past year without the help and support of the Phyl's family. We had moved to the area when my son started Phyl's Prep.

The founder, a registered nurse, Phyllis Frempong-Boadu, saw the desperate need for quality, affordable, day care. Since it's inception, Phyl's Academy has provided a curriculum that challenges and nurtures the early childhood students at tuition level affordable to working parents who want the best for their children. By 1988, a branch was formed in Lauderdale Lakes, Florida. This program quickly flourished, doubling its initial enrollment in the first year through old fashioned advertising, word of mouth of parents.

read morePhyl's Academy Preparatory School recognizes that the admission process for international students is more challenging than the same process for our domestic students. The applicant will be notified of acceptance and will pay if the applicant is accepted and would like to reserve a spot in the appropriate academic class, a non-refundable deposit of $3,000. This deposit does not include the annual tuition rate which varies based on the grade level.
