The healing properties of massage have ancient roots: the Greeks, Orientals, Romans, Mayans and Native Americans have all practiced some form of touch therapy. Our daily lives are no more stressful then these ancient cultures and yet a high percentage of doctor visits today are for stress related complaints. Headaches, neck and shoulder pain, backaches, anxiety, depression, high blood pressure, physical and/or mental exhaustion all can be linked to stress.
