In 1929, Postal Federal Community Credit Union opened its doors to service a handful of postal employees. It started as Springfield Postal Employees Credit Union. Through the years, it has expanded from that handful of employees, to more than 18, 000 members. Now it not only continues to serve postal employees, but it serves many many more. Today, Postal Federal Community Credit Union serves a 10-county area in Southwest Missouri. It no longer limits its membership to postal or government employees. It is a complete-service financial cooperation owned & operated solely for its members, by its members.
