POWER & GRACE SCHOOL OF PERFORMING ARTS is under the direction of Christy Posey Holden. Christy has been teaching dance in the Shreveport/Bossier area for over 25 years and is the only instructor in Louisiana certified by the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance to teach the Cecchetti ballet method. Power & Grace offers multiple dance studios, three locations, state of the art facilities, and the best in dance training. Our classes include ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, hip-hop, danceline, and preschool classes.

read morePreSchool Iclasses enhance body awareness, hand-eye coordination, rhythmic awareness and musicality. A wide variety of games, songs, and activities help provide instruction in basic ballet steps and proper French terminology. Class is 40 minutes long and meets once per week. These students may choose to participate in the annual spring recital. ALL classes are based on a proven curriculum using positive reinforcement in a nurturing atmosphere. PreSchool IIdancers participate in creative dancing games as their warm-up activities, followed by an energetic approach to ballet and tap exercises.
