Delayna Rowe began her dancing career as a competitive gymnast when she was seven years old. While learning gymnastics, she studied dancing to make herself a stronger competitor. After competing in artistic gymnastics for 2 years, she changed to rhythmic gymnastics, which is much more dance focused than artistic gymnastics. Her love for dancing eventually took her away from the gym and into a studio where she studied ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, lyrical, modern, and ballroom dancing.
