Proffitt's Lawn & Leisure, Ltd has been delivering quality service to Amarillo and the surrounding area for over sixty years. In 1970 Darrel & Frances Brogdon purchased the business hoping to add some extra income for the family. Just a year later, Proffitt's had grown to where Darrel had to quit his job as a fireman and join Frances full time. Since then, the business has increased from a 1200 sq foot building to 2 locations totaling over 30, 000 sq feet combined.
