Public Safety Psychology PLLC supplies psychological evaluations (pre-employment, fitness for duty, special assignment) for public safety agencies. We assess applicants for positions such as police officer, corrections officer, firefighter, dispatcher, and probation officer, as well as incumbent officers who are moving into special assignments (e.g. SWAT) or who have encountered some psychological problems that are affecting their capability to perform the essential duties of the job (fitness for duty evaluations)

The sole focus of our firm is providing these critical evaluations - Pre-employment, Fitness for Duty, and Special Assignments - to agencies across New York State. We do NOT perform psychological services such as marriage counseling or child custody evaluations. We currently have 13 licensed psychologists working for us, and many have been with us for the lifetime of the firm.
