These guys are great! They had redone my sunken patio off my family room and added a paver patio in my yard ( see before and after photos). They were timely and professional in converting a non useable backyard into a place now we love. They recently added a fence that has been admired by all my neighbors. Raul Jr is great at providing the best solutions and options for space planning and Raul Sr and his staff are craftsman at installation. You will love these guys. 5 Stars!

Raul and his team installed a paver walkway and patio extension at our home in Skokie. Great design suggestions, efficient installation, and thorough clean-up! We are really happy with the results! Be aware that responses weren't the quickest, but it was a busy time of year and all my queries were answered eventually. I recommend them and will most likely use again.

Raul and Raul Jr both helped with my fence and grass projects. Their team is good. They take responsibility. Lead the project and provided good service. Price a little on the higher side, request for better price and they hook things up. Ahmad

Very pleased with the crew's professionalism and quality of the 10' x 14' paved patio. They ran into some challenging tree roots, and still finished the job on time and on budget. Raul was recommended to me by a friend and I am happy to recommend his company to anyone reading this. I will provide a photo once I have completed the garden in that area.

We had a great experience working with the R&G Almanza Landscaping team! Our home had a weed infested front and back yard. Lots of dead spots. They came with a very reasonable quote to remove the grass/weeds and install new sod in the front and back yard. The outside of our home now looks awesome and we'd DEFINITELY RECOMMEND R&G Almanza for your landscaping needs!

We had R & G Almanza remove some concrete sidewalk pavers in our rear yard and replace them with a flat-stone path at our home in Evanston, IL. They did remarkable work and the finished project looks incredible. They were quick, responsive and cleaned up the job site very well when they were finished. Highly recommended.

So great! They were so fast and so cheap! Our dog had dug up parts of our back yard and we even had a tree stump. Now looks amazing. We now spend more time in the backyard in 1 week than we have the 3 years prior COMBINED

They were great! What a labor intensive job in the heat of summer! They removed the old grass and weeds and brought in new dirt and leveled the whole thing, including the parkway. They moved some plants and stepping stones where I wanted them. Then they put down beautiful blue grass sod under the sod they sprinkled fertilizer and grub killer. It looks beautiful!.

We were referred to R & G Almanza Landscaping by our tree service. After a less-than-pleasant experience with another local fencing contractor (who did a terrible job repairing a shared fence that had blown down in spring windstorms), working with R&G was a fantastic experience. Although R & G is more well known locally for their yard maintenance work, the high-quality job they did installing my fence was exceptional.
Their price was very reasonable, they were clean, fast, responsive and cared about the details. They even went above and beyond what I expected and really weeded and cleaned up the ground surrounding the fence. I plan on using them again next season for more landscaping work and even am considering them for weekly yard maintenance because of this experience. I highly recommend!

They are my regular guys. I got them off Angie's List and they are great. It's an ongoing contract and they come bi weekly in the summer. They are not great at returning phone calls, but they do everything you ask. It always gets done. I would tell people to use them. Don't expect a lot of phone calls. What sticks out to me is that it's gardening, so basically everything looks neat, clean, they don't trample on things, it's just attention to detail.
They could return phone calls better. They also provide a snow service and I asked them about it and I had some questions because I was interested, but they never got back to me to answer my questions, so I never used their snow service. Once you set them up, they do a wonderful job.

They are consistent, open to extra requests, have good pricing and are easy to work with. They respond to phone/email and follow up on requests. Would recommend!
