Ram Pro Audio and Lighting was began in 1999, by Butch Ramirez, which has been in the Music / Entertainment Business for over 30 years, and son's, Tony and Louie Ramirez. They are all very familiar with the different kinds of Pro Audio and Lighting Production. Butch usually takes care of Front of House duties. Tony heads up Monitor world, and Louie does Lighting. The production firm evolved from setting up and running sound for the Kaktus Band in Laredo, Tx. Butch is the drummer and one of the vocalists in the band. As Tejano music slowed down, and Norteno took over the Hispanic music industry, rental sound and lighting demands increased. Most of the artists at that time, were from Mexico, and did not bring equipment into the US.
