read moreIn 2010 I was diagnosed with aggressive glaucoma. In Oct. 2013 I found Dr. Vendal and by Nov. 2013, she performed glaucoma surgery called Canaloplasty. My glaucoma is now under control and I have 20/20 vision. At age 49 I found it hard to get prescription glasses that would allow me to see comfortably. Dr. Vendal recommended cataract surgery with the TORIC Lens. Without hesitation, it was the best decision I ever made for my eye health. Since patients with Cataracts often have no early symptoms, Westlake Eye Specialists recommend routine eye care appointments, particularly if you are over age 45, have diabetes and/or if you have a family history of Cataracts or are at risk for other eye diseases.
