Richmond Air provides quality service with quality equipment at a very reasonable price. The team were out at our house within an hour of my phone call and had our system repaired (which including replacing the outdoor unit) the same day. They were on their way to another customer at 8:30pm when they were finished with us.

Best air-conditioning servicepeople experience I have EVER had. James came out the afternoon before Hurricane/Tropical Storm Harvey began its extended visit to Houston. James arrived just minutes after I called! He worked quickly and efficiently and found a part under warranty needed to be replaced. He went that very second and got a replacement! Unfortunately, another part chose to fail almost immediately, through no fault of his.

This a/c had been put in by somebody else who has since retired. It has given us some trouble since it arrived. It was getting late and he needed to get home to HIS family to gird his homestead against the coming storm, but, the moment it was safe and dry again, Gary came out with the other necessary part and had us up and running in no time. Another a/c company had told us we probably needed ALL kinds of repairs if not replacement. Richmond's replaced TWO parts on the outside unit at very reasonable cost and didn't make me feel like I'm a failure at owning an air-conditioner. We are now cool as cucumbers. Thank you, Richmond's!

They repaired our A/C in record time. We were able to schedule an appointment at the time we requested. James showed up ON TIME and was ready to cut to the chase. James and Alex and crew did an amazing job on our old Heights bungalow. We had an initial service call out to do a quick assessment. Our AC system was working but struggled to keep the house cool in the summer heat. The AC would run nonstop unable to keep the house much below 80 degrees. James recommend we replace the system and upsize the compressor unit and helped us pick the system that was right for us (our current system was getting towards 20 years old, noisy, and definitely was on its last leg).

In between the initial visit and the new installation we actually had a minor issue with the compressor and they came back out to help limp us along to the installation. I cannot say enough about the unbelievable job they did. Extremely professional, they took significant steps to keep our house clean throughout the process and clean up after. We are very happy with the new unit - it is exactly what was promised. It is easy to see how this company is currently rated #1 on yelp. Anyone reading this review absolutely needs to give Richmonds Air a call.

Wow! Absolutely amazing service. I called at 8pm because my AC went out and it was 90 degrees in the house. I was trying to bribe him to come, but he refused to accept it and came out on his own. We made an appointment for a yearly tuneup. They had availability the same week on a saturday, which was perfect. Email confirmation, and the technician called to let me know the arrival time that morning. They were efficient and knowledgeable and took care of our maintenance requirements that day. Anytime I have someone come work on anything on my house, I always feel like I'm getting taken advantage of or the company does a subpar job. It with Richmonds Air. From the initial phone call to the end of the job, I felt at ease with this company.

The owner of the company James answered the call and was out shortly after to access the situation. We ended up needing to replace the whole unit and he did not inflate the prices like other companies I have dealt with. The price quoted was beyond reasonable. He made sure to answer any and every question we had. His crew showed up on time and were very professional. They laid down covering on the carpet to avoid leaving dirt behind and cleaned up after themselves. They did the job quickly, but efficiently. James was there to inspect their work as well.

We were beyond impressed with this company. We will definitely call them for any issues we or anyone we know have!

When the AC's out, who ya gonna call?!?!?! Richmonds Air, that's who. My ma has needed a renovation for far longer than I would care to disclose... Picture this, Ac and furnaces from the 1970's, being used today. No AC on the first floor, no heat on the second floor. Yup, that's the situation. Therefore, I found Richmonds Air on Yelp, and gave them a call. It's bit of a stretch to go from inner loop out to Tomball/Cypress, but one Saturday morning James and his Lead Technician Alex arrived in Tomball at 8am and gave the system a once over, and a ridiculously good quote for a complete overhaul. His service area is quite large, so don't hesitate to give him a ring, even if you're out in the sticks.

One week later on a Friday, James his technician Alex, and their install crew came out and spent the day renovating. 2 AC units, 2 furnaces and all of the duct work in the attic. Lead Installer Victor and his boys Jose, Isaac and Tino had a field day ripping out all of the old system and installing modern equipment. When I say night and day, I mean it. That house hasn't had a working AC in the first floor for damn near ten years. By the end of install day, it was 69 degrees by choice (not arctic weather). They did a phenomenal job, and I can't thank them enough for making my Ma's house a livable place in the summer. The crew was quick clean and courteous. The price was very good. And my Ma is very happy. Thank you guys for the good work!!

What a great air company!!!! I requested a quote and within minutes James was on his way!!! My AC wasn't cooling but now it's soooo cold in my house, it feels amazing! James was super helpful and explained everything that was going on with my unit. He answered any questions that I had. It's not easy to be up on a black roof in the Houston heat working on a unit but he didn't complain once and was eager to fix the issue! It is just days away from August and over 100 degrees in this Houston heat. I am renting house post post Harvey and the owner is in Asia for the next few weeks. It was over 84 degrees in the house and with my almost 95 grandmother living here with me....clearly we needed someone here promptly. Being it was a weekend I was concerned I would not be able to get someone to come out.

I contacted Richmonds Air and explained my concerns and James promptly came to the house. He assed the equipment and noted that the outdoor unit had probably never been cleaned in the 20 years it was installed. It was absolutely filthy, I mean just gross. He sprayed it down over and and over until the water ran clear. He tested the freon and said it was good to go (meaning he didn't try to sell me on adding freon or any equipment).

He checked everything else in the rental and noted that the insulation and the crappy roof was a huge problem which was contributing to the heat factor in the house. He was very honest and only did was was necessary. He didn't rush and I felt like everything he did was thorough Huge plus! Thank you Richmonds Air for saving the day (and of course my grandmother).

Came home at 6 to no air. Called by 7 (after calling around, doing research, etc), had Richmond's at the house by 9 and air running by 11. I'm so grateful these men were responsive and helpful even after hours. They were super affordable and we will be repeat customers. Wonderful business!
