New Loan Co. William S. Rich and Son (WSR) is a individual financial services supplier and retailer of jewelry and general merchandise originally incorporated in New Jersey in 1890. The firm was owned & operated in Newark by the Rich family until 1985 when it was purchased by the Sablosky and Valvano families both of which have been involved with the firm for over forty years. Since 1985 the firm has expanded from the current Newark store at 857 Broad Street to now include locations in Belleville, Union and North Plainfield.
