RVA Oriental Rug

Our love with Art of making Oriental Rugs started in late 1930's when WAHI family emerged as a rug weaver. It all began with Late Mr. Jugal Kishore Wahi who joined the rug weaving, while it was still developing in India. The ancient art of rug making was always a part of India, but new designs, intricate weaving, and modern work was drawing attention from around the world to the Indian handmade rugs. With hope that the Indian Carpet industry would eventually flourish, Mr. Vijay Kumar Wahi, who began helping his father Late Mr. Jugal Kishore Wahi, in his Oriental Rug weaving when he was a ten year-old boy.
