Carlo Salvador is a professional in the production and marketing of Italian wines and their growing role in the US market. He was born in Friuli; his family has been making wine in Italy for generations. His father, Orfeo Salvador, helped evolve much of the Friuli region and Banfi in Montalcino, invented a trellis system now used worldwide and is a prolific consultant and author. Carlo's 1st memory at age five is picking grapes with his father; he went on to work in all aspects of the family winery.
