The mission of the Society for Academic Continuing Medical Education is to promote the research, scholarship, evaluation and development of CME/CPD (continuing medical education/continuing professional development) that assists to enhance the performance of physicians and other healthcare specialists practicing in the US, Canada, and elsewhere for purposes of improving personal and population health. Establish a forum and structure within which academic CME/CPD specialists in the U. S. Canada, and elsewhere are enabled to enhance academic CME/CPD;
