Sammons Trucking began in 1962 hauling lumber and exempt commodities between the Midwest and the Pacific Northwest. Through the years we aggressively added to our commodity and territorial base until the industry was deregulated in the early 1980s. At that time, we became a nation-huge carrier of general commodities specializing in flatbed freight. Sammons is strictly an owner operator firm (including privately owned fleets) We have grown our trailer capacity to include steps, double drops and RGNs, in addition to our base of flatbeds.
