Rev. Samuel Dixon established the 1st Samuel Dixon Family Health Center over twenty years ago in the community of Val Verde, CA. Today we serve all residents of the Santa Clarita Valley. Our goal is to enhance wellness by delivering quality outpatient health care programs and services, health education, community resources and referrals. We like to assure that all our neighbors and friends have approach to affordable quality primary care. We make a special effort to cover the uninsured and under-insured residents of Santa Clarita Valley.

Often, unresolved trauma can manifest in our bodies and have an effect on our overall wellness. At Samuel Dixon Family Health Center, we believe that both physical health and mental health are equally important.

read moreAn advance directive informs physicians and other medical providers about a patient's treatment preferences in the event of a critical illness. The advance directive is activated when a patient is deemed by a physician to be terminally ill or to have an irreversible illness/condition. Advance directives can help to decrease suffering, increase quality of life and improve comfort at the end of life. Specific directives could include use of CPR or other resuscitation methods; life-sustaining equipment (dialysis/ventilator); artificial nutrition/hydration; and palliative care.
