Some SCCU members have received text messages stating that their account has been restricted or their account has a problem, and to call a toll-free number to re-activate the account. The automated response system then asks for your debit card number and PIN. This is a phishing scam. As a reminder, SCCU will never ask you for information via a text or email message. NEVER supply your card number or PIN unless you know specifically you're dealing with an SCCU employee.
