The Scholar's Choice is an academic book exhibit firm delivering services for university and scholarly publishers. We provide combined book displays at academic conferences, where publishers have an opportunity to introduce professors, graduate students, and independent scholars to recently published titles. Each year, we handle more than 160 book exhibits across the U. S. In Canada, and overseas. Most of these are meetings in the humanities, which is our firm's marketing specialty. We display newly published books appropriate to the subject matter of each meeting and provide new titles by conference speakers.

read moreTom Prins founded The Scholar's Choice as a book exhibit company in 1983 after years of scholarly book selling. Working from his home, Tom attended 16 conferences that first year. Right from the start, The Scholar's Choice met a need in the scholarly publishing community by bringing the newest and best scholarship to specialized academic meetings. Our ability to successfully display, market, and sell books has fueled our growth. Today, we are a fully incorporated company located in Rochester, New York, with a staff of full-time professionals.

read moreThe Scholar's Choice provides publishers with excellent opportunities to enhance their sales and exposure of academic books. Each year, we display and sell books at over 120 scholarly meetings. In addition, we are always looking for new meetings to add to our schedule. We attend regional, national, and international conferences. Most of the conferences are scheduled annually. Others are one-time events. Reservation forms are available as downloads under each conference listed in our exhibit schedule.
