read moreThe facility that we chose is the former Verlinden Elementary School located at 609 N. Verlinden Ave. in Lansing, Michigan. The center is conveniently located a few minutes from downtown Lansing and Delta township. We fell in love with the building before ever stepping inside of it. What we saw inside only amplified our excitement to bring this recently closed school back to life with bustling children. Built in the 1920's, this building has all the aesthetic appeal and charm of the era. The architecture and structural design of this building is truly amazing.
