SEACO. Celebrated sixty years in business in 2009. It all began when Bill Tuller came to Columbia, SC in the mid-1930's to be in the asphalt business with John G. Ehrlich, who later became his father-in-law. Together they began Colprovia Asphalts and began producing and selling cold mix asphalt. With the success of Colprovia Asphalts they started manufacturing asphalt emulsions in 1949 using the name SEACO. Today, Colprovia operates as a division of SEACO.
