Shaker Youth Baseball League

Travel Teams participate in the Great Lakes Baseball League or the Buckeye Baseball League and compete against teams from other communities. These teams typically play in several tournaments as well, including some outside the Cleveland area. Most of these teams play 30+ games a year. The season for these teams varies somewhat by age, but typically runs from April through July. Most of these teams are selected based on try-outs in August or September of the previous year and practice occasionally througout the winter. Any Shaker resident is eligible to tryout for these teams. Age cut-offs are located on a player's age as of May first of the year involved.
