The firm was established by Shannon Gallagher Hall in 2003 to market her talent and know-how in the area of architecture and design. Prior to forming the firm, she designed architecture for several of the most exclusive, well-regarded companies in the world, including Kohn, Pedersen, Fox; Zimmer, Gunzel, Frasca ; Gensler, and Robert A. M Stern Architects. She collaborated on such gems as the World Bank Headquarters in Washington DC; This Old House Dream House in Wilton, Connecticut; Celebration Health in Celebration, FL, Tribeca Park domestic tower in New York City, and many others.

read moreLike Drayton Hall, this smart-looking Carolina home overlooks the water and features a Gambrel roof. It's neo-classical design incorporates a clear-story lantern that provides natural light and ventilation. The pronounced front pediment covering the brick portico is supported by two pairs of Tuscan-order, coupled-columns and features a raked cornice, and a tympanum containing one of the four elliptical windows found on the property. The interior architecture of the home features elliptical archways, and a rectangular, colonnaded, clear-story gallery surrounding the stair case.
