Memorial Park Cemetery was established over 65 years ago to cover the ever-increasing burial requirements of St. Petersburg residents. The cemetery encompasses 104 acres, features two mausoleums and provides cremation gardens, cremation niches, a columbarium, and numerous garden sections. Of special interest is The Life of Christ Chapel, showcasing 12 priceless mosaics depicting the Life of Christ. Local artist Earl Gresh created the mosaics. Each took one year to complete and is comprised of woods from around the world.
