To better understand how well breast augmentation was meeting our patients' expectations, we conducted a survey among 225 consecutive patients. Breast self-consciousness dropped from 86.2% to 12.6%. Remarkably, over 90% of women report an improvement in self-esteem after breast augmentation. No other cosmetic surgical procedure can match breast augmentation for patient satisfaction (98.1%).
