Kenpo's origin began in China sometime in the early seventeenth century. In the1940s a Hawaiian native named Ed Parker Americanized Kenpo. Ed Parker analyzed combat from a scientific point of view. Parker's aggressive system became known as American Kenpo. Kenpo is known for its huge range of techniques all provided in a continuous, relentless flow. Kenpo uses a chain of linear and circular movements with a signature rapid fire combination of blows to vital areas of the body. Instead of relying on one power blow as in other martial art styles. Master Cody has continued where Ed Parker left off.
