Dr. Bartell trained under leading doctors in the areas of binocular vision and pediatrics, cornea and contact lenses, and eye disease. He completed clinical extern rotations at the Ohio Chillicothe VA Medical Center and with The Eye Specialists of Ohio where he received training in diagnosing and managing eye diseases such as cataracts, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, and glaucoma. Dr. Bartell was a four-year member of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society and graduated Cum Laude from The Ohio State University College of Optometry.
