The Southeast Japanese School and Community Center was established in 1925 as a cultural institute to promote the Japanese language and culture. The Center originally known as Norwalk Gakuen started as a Japanese Language School and was renamed Southeast Gakuen in 1967. Presently we provide a range of Japanese cultural classes and activities for all ages. We're a non-profit organization and all of our activities are open to anyone regardless of race or religion. Membership dues are required for participation in the classes.
