We had a great turnout for the 1st Food Handlers Certification class at the Food Bank. Paula Thacker, Orange County Extension Agent, has partnered with us to provide on-site training for our agencies on a regular basis. The Food Handlers class is not only informative, but provides a chance for our agency representatives to network with their peers. Local Kroger stores will now be donating protein food products with very high nutritional value to the Southeast Texas Food Bank.
